Mit „Soulbound“ setzt der irische Rock-Sänger Robin McAuley ein starkes musikalisches Statement – und beweist, dass seine kreative Hochphase noch lange nicht vorbei ist.
Nachdem er sich mit gefeierten Gastauftritten bei Michael Schenker Fest-Alben und -Tourneen sowie als Frontmann der Hardrock-Supergroup Black Swan eindrucksvoll zurückmeldete, fühlt sich McAuley inspiriert wie nie zuvor.
Seine Stimme ist nach wie vor unverwechselbar und kraftvoll – und „Soulbound“ bringt diese Energie in vollem Umfang zur Geltung.
Die Arbeit an „Soulbound“ begann Anfang 2024 in einer intensiven kreativen Phase zwischen Tournee- und Studioarbeit. Der Sound ist härter und druckvoller als je zuvor, mit einer Produktion, die McAuleys markante Stimme perfekt in Szene setzt.
Das Album verbindet klassischen Hardrock mit modernen Elementen und zeigt, dass der Sänger nach Jahrzehnten im Geschäft nichts von seiner Magie verloren hat.
Für „Soulbound“ hat sich McAuley eine hochkarätige Band zusammengestellt,
darunter alte Bekannte wie Gitarrist Andrea Seveso sowie neue Talente wie
Alessandro Mammola (Gitarre) und Alfonso Mocerino (Drums).
